強磁場中性子回折
磁性体の研究にとって中性散乱は決定的に重要な手法です。
J-PARCでは大型のパルス磁場を用いた40 Tまでのマルチフェロイック物質の中性子回折を世界で初めて成功させました。
一方、持ち運び可能なポータブルパルス磁場を用いた30 Tまでの中性子回折を開発し、ILL, SNS, ISISなど世界中の中性子施設で実験を進めており、この分野で独壇場の位置にあります。

Neutron Diffraction in High Magnetic Fields
Neutron diffraction is the unique method to determine the magnetic structure.
We have realized a neutron diffraction up to 40 T at J-PARC and it is applied for multi-ferroic compounds.
A portable 30 T system is also developed and is installed into ILL, SNS and ISIS.
As such, we are the world leading group in neutron diffraction in high magnetic fields.
