分子磁性体
金属錯体などナノスケール磁性体の振る舞いは、量子トンネルなど実時間に依存する物理現象の理解の観点からも、将来の分子素子や量子計算などへの応用の観点からも興味深い課題です。
光と多自由度結合を利用した"Spin-Hamiltonian Tunable"な磁性体の探査、複雑な時間構造をもつ高速掃引パルス強磁場による非断熱遷移の研究やESRを用いた単分子磁石のダイナミックスの研究などを行っています。

Molecular Based Magnets
Molecular based magnetic complexes are good models to examine physics of time dependent phenomena such as quantum tunneling and adiabatic transition.
The manipulation of spins in nano-object is the basis of molecular magnetic device and quantum information.
Realization of ”Spin-Hamiltonian Tunable” magnets by using photo response and interplay of multi-degrees of freedom is our important target.
We utilize the ultra-fast sweeping magnetic fields with designed sequence. Also, ESR is used to study spin dynamics of molecular based magnets.
